The CF returns with some painted minis!

Hello there!
I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, but school and everything has gotten in the way. But today, I'm free enough for a post. So here it is!

So, lately, two things kept me busy: The show at school aaand... Painting!
I was painting four entries in a local painting competition, and I thought I'd include these here:

1st, the Single Miniature entry: a Nomad Tomcat Engineer (Infinity).

I kinda took a chance with this. Most other entries were larger models (50mm bases), but I figured a small model might stand out, or something... Ah, who am I kidding, I just wanted to paint an Infinity mini.
I tried out something new on this mini: blending. I tried blending a shift in the shade, going for the look of bright sunlight from somwhere above the Tomcat's right shoulder. I'm pretty happy with the result.

2nd, the Large miniature entry: The CF's forest Terrorgheist!

Ohyeah, so what do I need to explain? It's big. It's awesome. And I bought the Citadel wood kit and placed the trees on the base.
This was my first attempt at a snowy basing. I think I went a little bit overboard with the snow (as well as the blood, haha), but I'm fine with that. I like snow and blood. And he gives a mighty impression whenever I see him on his shelf. I'm proud of him.
Also, he won me 300 swedish crowns. (Roughly £30)

3rd, the Unit entry: My Black Knight-conversion!

Perhaps you remember these? If not, these are my Black Knights for Vampire Counts. Made out of Brettonia, Tomb King Horsemen and Grave Guards. Not much to say more than that though... So... moving on..

4th, the army diorama entry: "Necron awakening"!
Army Diorama, Necrons

So, very straightforward: Cardboard, one layer with cut out holes for miniature placing, one layer uncut. Small stones / grovel / rubble, whaterver you call it. THen modelling grass. Green colour, first a well-covering coat of Dark Angels green, followed by (kinda dry)brushed goblin green, and gobling green on the grass, with a final drybrishing of white on the stones. Place models. Finished.
Earned med 400 swedish crowns, it did. (Roughly £40)

That's all for me today.
